I also remember how furious those cacs were in the bay when they traded Ellis and went with Klay even when it was obvious dude was the SG of the future. Booing the owner and shyt. That’s why I will never respect that shytty fan base
Eh, those were at least REAL Warriors fans. Now that bandwagon is damn near double full.

Also, it's not like the fans were mad because Klay was going to be starting shooting guard. They were just mad because they loved Monta that much. It'd be like some Boston fans being upset because they traded away Isaiah, even though they got Kyrie; it would have nothing to do with having Irving but just being upset a fan favorite was leaving. :yeshrug:

Monta Ellis was one of two superstar at that time and had electrifying ball play. When he was ‘on’ he brought his absolute best. Look at his 48 point game against Laksers. Do you know how they traded him? He fukking saw the news on TV. Nobody reached out to him nothing. I’m not a Warriors fan but Monta has always been my guy I was livid.

He seemed too hard headed for his own good. Like many of y’all already said, he never reinvented his game and the game ended up passing him by. He had two really go situations to be a legit second option in Dallas and Indiana but couldn’t make it work.
