Do you have a business? Do you employ Blacks? Are you continuing an education? Will you have a BLACK family? Do you own real estate? Do you own stock?

Intellectuals or those who know better should have most of these things checked before they start getting all meta and worrying about the monolithic Black race.

gaining wealth is a team sport that most blacks don't comprehend. the overwhelming majority of us don't own businesses that employ other blacks. hell, the majority of blacks don't even realize we should strive for business ownership; that doesn't mean individuals shouldn't concern ourselves with community wealth; as we need networks to increase business ownership and investments.

You don't need all Blacks to wakeup for *you* to gain wealth. More show and less tell. The sheep will follow but first *you* have to be in position to lead. Many of the people who claim to know the ills of the Black community don't fit in that category and got problems their damn selves.

I've been pro-choice all my life, have taken courses on gender and sexuality, have written papers on the contraceptive and abortion struggle....but statistics like this do make me question whether it's tactical for black people end so many of our own lives.

Demographics are already shyt and getting worst for us....maybe we need less "choice".

Maybe we need to plan better for kids and stop looking at it as "blessings" that we are mentally and financially unprepared for.

You're right....in the long run, this is the only option really.

It's just hard to see us losing ground in raw numbers every year and feeling helpless to stop it.

Of course, then you look over at the Jews and how they are organized....a small ethnic group can build DYNASTIES in this country if it is willing to fight for it.

Black Americans have a higher birth rate than White Americans, the Black population is increasing. Assuming Black people losing ground in raw numbers to Hispanics was a negative, the inevitable future of being a minority minority and losing that oh so precious political capital(In most black academic minds, not mine, politics ain't done or going to do shyt for black ppl imo) is all the more reason for black people to focus on productivity over production.

i get conflicted by this, because while it's a cultural genocide, i also don't think these kids being born to unfit parents, into the squalor of the hood, or facing a life being bounced around in social services where they'll likely be handicapped by the other forms institutional oppression in the country leads to a life worth living or a betterment of the black community. i don't see a clear answer here

my only problem with this is disproportionate ADs & subliminal message targeted at black and brown moms to get abortions, like i pointed out in another thread there are various radio commercials encouraging abortions that play on HOT 97 in NY the largest & most popular hip-hop station in the country. There are billboards and facilities everywhere , and there all located in the open in urban environments you don't see these as much in suburbs/white towns, matter fact is damn near taboo to even talk about them

it makes you wonder why do they want black & brown ppl to abort so much? I think we all know the answer to that
