Too much confusion about married, and too much subjective and vague "in love" type fantasy's clouding peoples vision.

If you're gonna get married, here are the top 3 reasons (that should be discussed and understood going into the marriage):
1. Companionship - neither party needs the other, its a choice.
2. Providing a 2 parent home for child raising
3. Wealth building

Why do you think the number 1 reason for divorce is finances

Too general. Certain men and women marry for different reasons. When a man and woman marry for similar reasons, their marriage has a better chance than when they don't. So when people get divorced because of finances, its safe to assume they probably didn't get married for the same reasons. But the other 40% of marriages that don't end like that, seem to consist of partners who have an understanding.
