What is this getting at?

Inviting someone to your home...and wanting people not to go to jail for being homeless are 2 different things.

I don't think people should be arrested for having a beer out in public, but that doesn't mean I have to invite the motherfukkers into my house for Happy Hour.

I spent a lot of time in a homeless shelter volunteering so a lot of those cats just fell on hard luck. I mean, there were some straight up crazy mofos and others who were missing a few screws but for the most part, shyt came down and their ass was caught in the wind. A few of them were alchy's who were tossed out by their family after refusing to get treatment or clean themselves up. Others were bullshyting around with their lives before their family didn't want to help them no more. Some of them are runaways from home. Some are women with no dad, multiple kids and no family to really lean on like that. It is what it is so all I do is listen.

I felt the worst though for the white people. Some of them cats I knew because I knew their folks and the dudes were solidly middle class whitebread straight christian males in the bible belt who simply didn't get their shyt together and their families moved on while they ended up homeless. Its like they live in a community geared towards their success and they couldn't even capitalize on that shyt. As a black man that shyt pissed me the fukk off though.

I am not sure about any other laws. But I have seen an influx of homeless people further from our inner loop.

It* could be financially motivated as well as making laws to make things more comfortable for a certain demographic. As for race, I see tons of white homeless people around here. Its about social class. People are going to realize in the end money is what matters and it won't matter what color you are in regards to them caring about you. They have never cared about exploiting those in poverty even their "own"

I could be financially motivated as well as making laws to make things more comfortable for a certain demographic. As for race, I see tons of white homeless people around here. They have never cared about exploiting those in poverty even their "own"

Reason why some may suggest a racial motivation is because most homeless people (62% according to the stats) are minorities.
And it may be an economic situation because making homelessness a crime puts these people in prison. And how do they hire attorneys and defend themselves? They're poor and homeless. Them being in prison would line the pockets of the Prison Industrial Complex.

I live in a working class suburb with many displaced people from the inner city because instead of an actual solution the decision was to make it someone else's problem, the moral to my story is the powers that be are more worried about perception than solution so they are all too willing to just push the issue over to a different jurisdiction, almost like that spot on the wire where people were allowed to sell drugs

It's the latest example of the metal studs being removed following campaigns on social media.

They led to accusations that homeless people were being treated "worse than animals" and sparked a lively and heartfelt debate on our social media sites.

Similar spikes were removed from outside a block of flats in London and then from outside a supermarket in the capital.

London mayor Boris Johnson called the two-inch spikes at Southwark Bridge Road flats "ugly, self-defeating and stupid" after pictures of them were shared widely on Twitter, while housing minister Kris Hopkins said their installation was "deplorable".

The studs in Swansea had been installed outside a branch of Halifax on Union Street, reports Wales Online.

The bank said they were there to ensure their customers' safety.

A spokeswoman for the Halifax said: "As part of the branch refurbishment in 2013, external studs were introduced on the ground behind existing steel railing to help deter anti-social behaviour.
