Never said the rumors were false, just misrepresented. And also vgleaks was the one with the two APU/GPU rumors. I guess that one was tru as well.

No they did not. They had the diagram of the board setup in your face on the site.

The 360 SOC adding processing power is It's not another APU like the main one.

The Windows Store Apps compatability with Durango and BC are the biggest plusses of this leak. Granted BC is kinda overrated with new consoles unless you are looking to clear space in your entertainment center.

As long as the new D-Pad is an actual pad like on the Playstation controllers instead of some cheap feeling plastic cover I'm happy. I'm happy they decided to continue the backwards compatibility route, I was really disappointed on how they killed off their original Xbox.

It has 2 processors right? Nobody said they would be the same. Just that there was two of them. Are you an engineer? How do you know it won't increase power? You believe everything else in this leak. Why not that part?

The 360 was rated roughly 350 GFlops which still isn't enough when added to the 1.2 TFlop processor/gpu in the Durango to overcome the PS4's 1.8. It does help IF the added 360 SOC can indeed be used somehow.

But 500$ is definitely confirmed with this.

It wasn't necesssarily the fact of killing off the OG Xbox. They dropped support for the shyt like it no longer existed. You can still make games for your console even with a new one out.

Yes, I am an engineer (not computer engineering though). I have PLENTY of friends who are software, electrical, and computer engineers though. Adding the 360's SOC still doesn't give it more power than the PS4's though. Look at my previous post.

I opened this thread and didnt' even read it until now. Honestly right now I've been apathetic towards gaming news right now as April is a slow ass month.
Just haven't cared much really

It's not like this news means Ps4 is doomed. PS4 is still going to be better overall.

I don't know if I can really trust this. I have a hard time believing that they got two different SoC architecture types being able to work out in tandem. That would raise eyebrows getting a PowerPC SoC working with the x86-64 AMD one they are loading up on at the same time. That alone is enough to disregard the "leak".

Also with the wireless front they have a really good low latency design that they should improve on further outside of just battery life. The DPad should go to the "swivel" design.

How long after PS3 came out were you still playing ps2 games?

PS4 based on the specs is more powerful still. The 720 isnt really getting the internet excited so far.
