$399 PS4 is possible and something tells me that SONY is also thinking of a subsidized option with PS+...I think they have to at this point.

depends on how much the of a discount you are getting. Has to be at least $300 off for me to even consider it, but I doubt I will buy an nextbox at launch.

I was wondering why M$ was getting knocked on indie game development when it was perfectly clear that they had the advantage with Windows 8. This gives devs a MASSIVE platform for releasing their games. The millions of Windows 8 computers and the millions of eventual XBOX 720's sold.

The 720 is going to be the iOS of the video game world. Where developers go first. The PS3 will be the Android of the video game world. They'll get less indie exclusives and shytty ports.

I think that will be the best thing about the 720. The indie games. It will be cool playing games someone made on their laptop during lunchtime.

PS4 based on the specs is more powerful still. The 720 isnt really getting the internet excited so far.

Yeah, alot of this sounds promising but nothing seems really exciting, I'm not into Indie games really and I have no plans to unhook my PS3 or 360 anytime soon either so BC was never really a major concern of my gaming experience. And that's even if all this is even true, and wasn't contradicting each other.

The always online leak came from a creditable source and a noted MS employee went even further to tell us to deal with it, who is this pastebin 'source'? I'm just going to wait for May 21st for the facts. Interesting read though @ still needing AA batteries though, I could understand MS not wanting to really mess with their controller too much but just improving the d pad and still needing batteries seems like 2 steps forward and 1 step back.

MANY sites are already shytting on this rumor too, ESPECIALLY the whole 360 SOC being able to work with the Jaguar APU. That's the biggest one getting laughed at.

The rest of the shyt with the BC does directly conflict with the rumor last week of the xbox 360 mini being required for BC as well. Mods on Neofag already changed the title of the thread there to "Tales From The Ass"

I do believe the Windows 8 shyt though. That makes sense.

any random person worldwide can pay Microsoft a $60 license fee (for the Windows Store) and submit their app/game to the store where millions of people can then download/buy it. No expensive development kits needed.
