People ignore all types of shyt from the New Testament. And they still push some stuff from the OLD.People will misrepresent whatever the fukk they want to misrepresent. The kind of shyt people like this teach would have been incomprehensible to the first couple centuries of Christianity and are in explicit contradiction to what Jesus taught.
Jesus made clear that the Old Testament was fulfilled in him. He said over and over, "You have heard it said...but I say to you", making clear that it was a new era and that the world was not required to follow the law meant explicitly for the Hebrews in that time. In Acts 15 the early church clearly affirms that Christians do not have the follow the Hebrew law to be right with God. It's not "cherry picking", the entire foundation of Christianity is built on the Old Testament NOT being the rules that we follow.
That doesn't make the Old Testament useless. It shows us how we got here. But it's not a law to be followed.

Y'all can't have it both ways![]()
Well y'all "right" ones need to find a way to make the dummies shut up.I ain't trying to have it both ways.
I don't think shyt from the New Testament should be ignored, and I don't think that shyt from the Old Testament should be pushed if the New Testament has clearly superseded it. I don't think any "Old Testament law" should be followed as law at all.
People from all walks of life say dumb shyt about everything. Yes, a lot of the 2,000,000,000 Christians on this planet don't know what they're doing. That doesn't invalidate the ones who are trying to do it right.

So the old testament is bullshyt. Got it.
Is this a serious question? Because those people try to affect other people's lives off of their faith of these fairy tales. If you think the bible is a fairy tale, why do you care if some of those who follow its word choose to do so selectively? If someone worshiped the words of Aesops Fables I wouldn't care how accurate they were![]()
