I agree with the bolded, but not the rest. The reason being that the majority of people do not have the tools or even the long-term attention span to keep up with how the economy was moving towards this since the 80s. It was the job of the experts to inform the political representatives of these problems, and then work to forestall it. Unfortunately, the experts and the political class were in on it, receiving kickbacks from the oligarchy class.It was over after NAFTA, H1Bs, Outsourcing, Wallstreet bailouts, Deregulation, Glass-Steagall repeal Iraq War, China WTO and Citizens United.
That's why I don't feel sorry for people crying now. The writing has been on the wall for awhile now. If you didn't properly prepare that's on you.
