say others lack understanding of football then say this guy would be tackled after a few yards when no one was within 15 yards, and those guys were/were going to be blocked and they are linemen

Okay? If not football than the basic laws of physics?

In the earlier photo he had committed to moving left (at almost a 90 degree angle), which was why Seattle players were moving to their right and shadowing him, which left one side of the field deceptively wide open in that photo. Now again you can make some sort of argument (I guess) that Burnett, as a non offensive player, should have started playing like tecmo bowl and reversed field like Deion in his prime, in some desperate attempt to squeeze more yardage out the interception despite the fact that the Packers at that point held a beyond commanding position with 5 minutes left.

Its not like Burnett would have been criticized if he would have fumbled or anything, and handed back the ball, and the momentum, to Seattle rather than handing the ball to the best QB in the league.

u have no idea how bad our teams were from 98 - 05

Mike Sherman the GM was horrible

Ron Wolf's picks were the only reason the teams after 2001 were in the postseason... but Ron Wolf's last draft in 2001 was probably his worst one.

I'm glad TT has had a couple good drafts lately.

Yeah, like I said earlier, the offense shyt the bed too. My point was that generally in situations like these the QB with the lead is really an afterthought and not really looking to put an imprint on the game any longer. Gonna be interesting to see if Rodgers going forward says "fukk it" and keeps his foot on the gas in games like this.

so here's the issue, the only reason he didn't do that is because of his calf injury.

it was a catch 22. all year we've been pleading with MM and ARod to run the ball more. Unfortunately MM decided to run 3 straight times and play the worse 4 minutes of football in nfl history.

I remmy I was like :what: at him,. go for it and nobody Hawks players near him...... You play the game to win, it's a f*cking playoff NFC game breh. I would understand this if this was just reg-season but in the playoffs.....you risk it and play the game to win.

yeah i said the same thing then my wife was like because the game is over. I laught and said this is the NFL, the game is never over until it's 0 on the clock. I told her don't be surprised if Seattle comes back and win the game and she started laughing hysterically. Then you know the rest of the story.

People like this is irritating me especially the fans who left the game early and think it's over :snoop: So glad them mfer didn't share the moments with Seahawks.

What was your wife reaction after game over?.

I misspoke...mid to late 90's. They did fall off towards the end of the decade but those SB and near SB squads were stacked.

we lost to the super bowl champion cowboys every year....can't really play the should've would've could've game with them :yeshrug:

the second super bowl was a piss poor performance from the entire team + TD playing like a mad man

The next year Darren Sharper wanted to be a super hero and leave his zone. TO catches the ball and the rest is history.

After that it was literally Favre willing the team. And though I was pissed off as fukk at him for throwing that fail mary against the eagles, it wasn't his fault that the Freddie Mitchell was allowed to convert on 4th and 26.

I remember this game. They were running the ball down the Eagles throats and punted on a 4 and 1 that could have iced the game. 4th and 26 was :wow: just :wow: :mindblown:. That Favre pick was unacceptable though breh. Looked like a QB throwing outside his vision cone or some shyt :heh:.

Mike Sherman lost his edge after that game and then was fired after 2005. 2004, the Packers started 1-4 and then Favre and that offense willed them to 10 wins but then the Vikings came into Lambeau and passed all over the place.

Does the same thing happen to McCarthy? I'm not sure, the players by and large love him and he knows how to lead a team better than Sherman ever did. Plus, the ring he has gives him credibility but we'll see how they react.

that's why it's on Mccarthy. He told his team shut it down with more than 5 minutes left against the defending champs who has 3 timeout and a 2 minute warning left. :mindblown: that shyt is unheard of..i'm surprised he is not getting heat for this.
