In hindsight, yea he should have tried to return it, but you're lying to yourself if you can say you thought that at the moment it happened.

:why: It was over 5 minutes left in the game plus Seattle had all their timeouts. :beli: still had Brady in the game up 38 points with 2 mins left. You never ever know what can happen in a game.

If Sean Taylor can get stripped by Mo Clarett anything can happen. He got down it was the smart play, his team had a 98% chance of winning the game at that time.

We see defensive players mishandle INTS all the time. I woulda felt more comfortable if he was near a sideline...but he was in the middle of the field.

:yeshrug: i dont blame him

The drive before the packers offense knocked off 6 minutes on the clock

Seattle had proven up until that point that they were incapable of scoring a touchdown

[When I first saw the play, I thought he was probably in front of a wall of lineman] so I didn't have a problem with him sliding

Either way - the packers defense, without clay matthews on the field, gave up 15 points in 44 seconds. Make that thread. Not this one.

nothing is guaranteed but going down safely. who the fukk knows what could have happen. burnett didn't do anything wrong. you got arguably the best quarterback in the game and you run three times? i think we know why green bays defense gave up because their shytty ass coach has no ballz to grip on and that why marshawn does what he does one every touchdown because his and the whole seahawks are made of steel.

That's even worse, looking at another angle. He's got a TD there, those linemen aren't catching him if he cuts it back to the right.

Peppers deserves just as much criticism as Burnett if he told him to get down. nikka was done putting in effort. fukk running down the field to try and make a block, I mean the games over anyways, right? Wrong. :beli:
It's sort of like the Webber timeout. You could see at least one nikka on the bench putting up the timeout sign while he was coimg down the court

The greatest thing about this game IMO is that no one is in position to point fingers. All 3 phases shyt the bed at the exact same time. Have we ever seen a game where a team couldn't advance the ball, all of a sudden couldn't stop a team they had been stuffing all day AND gave up an onside kick and a TD on a fake FG? Literally everything that could have gone wrong went wrong and nikkas wanna harp on Burnett :heh:.
