This fan appreciation week is some absolute bullshyt. Yesterday they claimed that the towers were going to have the most requested skins/gear, and outside of being able to get maskless Sub Zero the towers had nothing useful. The most requested skins/gears are Liu Kang's "young justice" skin, Kano's "down under" skin & klassic eye, Kitana's "edenia blue" skin & Shao Kahn "master of the lower mines" skin.

Three of those skins were available during Ed Boon's stupid krypt event, and you had to follow him on Twitter to even know about it. Netherrealm is quickly becoming the worst video game company ever, because the lies and trolling has gotten way out of hand.

The whole "appreciation week" and everything connected to obtaining skins is a joke. They couldn't even announce when the towers would be available. They did that late yesterday. All they had to do is update that Gauntlet tower (albeit don't make it as difficult as the initial Gauntlet challenges are) and have the stages available all week where the gear, skins, and brutalities would unlock upon completing the towers. That tower just sits there.
