when I saw north europe on the high list I had to click the link. cause Scandinavians are known to put on a 'good face'

I cited the hypothetical about Swedes and Finns at the top of this post, noting that perhaps some people are just more honest about their racial tolerance than others. It’s entirely possible that we’re seeing some version of this effect in the U.S.-India comparison; maybe, for example, Americans are conditioned by their education and media to keep these sorts of racial preferences private, i.e. to lie about them on surveys, in a way that Indians might not be. That difference would be interesting in itself, but alas there is no survey question for honesty.

there it is. some of those people, because of their education system are taught to be PC, and are lying.

am I blind or is nigeria in red? that's odd. esp considering they were in the top 5 places welcoming foreign investors, they're currently shipping LOADS of chinese teachers and engineers there, welcoming them with open arms since theyre obv there to improve the country. weird.

They consider Will Smith types the same as white. My boy's father (Nigerian) went there and they spat at his light-skinned wife AA wife. I can vouch for Haiti and D.R. being the same way as well, they are on that brown paper bag steez still to this day

perhaps but I dont see how that would apply to foreigners. usually africans are quite tolerant and conditioned to believe foreigners are there to help. in fact that's the problem, they put too much trust in them.

Most tolerant country in terms of race? From personal experience

Canada
Switzerland
Philippines

In terms of ethnic group, AA blacks are far and above the most tolerant IMO. They will easily marry and/or integrate any culture into their own.

saw my first swastika carved into the elevator of my brand new condo in vancouver, and I have feeling it was for either me or the other brown skin dude (indian) who both had white gfs living in the building. they be sayin a lot of shyt about south asians. Im a canadian hater tho, they hype the place too much, its not the utopia they let on. just good at putting good faces.

swiss and philippines might be right tho. spent a whole summer in manila, hands down the most polite people Ive ever met. I dont know about AAs, we hold a lot of animosity and drop the word cac quite often, in fact we use white to insult each other lol.

I still think central africa is high on the list in terms of accepting 'others'. in tribe fighting toward each other however....

How is race defined though. Different countries tend to think of "race" in different ways. The United States tends to think in terms of skin color while other countries think in terms of ethnicity so I'm not sure what to make of this map.

Same goes with most "tolerant" countries, author says the same thing regarding the US too. A lot of PC liars out there.

Really? Switzerland looks quite racist from the outside...I regularly read how they look down at Italians there and when they voted against mosques being built it did not seem very tolerant

Good point. For all we know in Nigeria they understood it as someone from another tribe or another religion, which doesn't make the intolerance better but is another question altogether.

No, the Korean War was between North and South Korea. Before the war, they were racists. They think they are the superior race. They don't even like other Asian races, especially if your nationality is darker skinned. Yeah, it's like that. Not cool.

Not everyone is like that though. Just like in the South, not every white person is a member of the Ku Klux Klan.

So, they don't hate you like a Klan member. They aren't going to lynch you or think about that. But, they don't want to be your neighbor. Stuff like monitoring you in the mini-mart the whole time you are there because they think you are going to shoplift. Garbage like that.

He speaks the truth. I lived in Korea for a year, and the people are polite and hospitable. But don't try to mess with their women, they view anyone that isn't Korean as lesser than them. Especially dark skinned folks like blacks, Indians, Filipinos, southeast Asians, etc. They are very nationalistic and there are quite a number of clubs, brothels, etc. that are Korean only.

Yeah, they definitely hate the Japanese more than any other group. Koreans and Japanese have quite a history of hostility. I think that having a sense of superiority due to your race or ethnicity is stupid and overall pretty lame. Though I'm not going to deny that you made a valid point in saying it's down to the individual at the end of the day.

There is no place with 0 racism. However, in COMPARISON with other countries, those 3 are mentioned are pretty good.

In terms of AA, again, there is no ethnicity with 0 racism, but 90% of the time marrying outside of your race in AA social circles is acceptable, or at least accepted. In Asia you can be like Hines Ward's mom and get disowned IMHO, AA racism is in response, a defense mechanism, AAs don't have a history of practicing racism. The easily intermarried with Native Americans, Irish, Asian etc back in the day.
