I have a hard time believing at least some of it wasn’t scripted to play up stereotypes. I know they really 600lbs and need help, but I feel the producers egged on Dr.Nawzardan and got in the ear of the 600lb ppl and told them to play it up. “Yeah, wrap up your hair after sonning your husband and being verbally abusive to him. And play up the anger a bit!! The viewers will love it!!”

If I was the doctor, once she started talking about water weight, and telling me I'm wrong, I would have just said OK, well we can't have the surgery, and then hung up. I'm not having that argument/discussion. They talked about what she had to do to have the surgery prior to the date.
