Never in my fukkin life outside the internet have I met a Nas fan, let alone people who think he is better than jay z. You nikkas have to be trolling with this

How old are you and where are you from?

Because I see the opposite of what you said a lot.

We're you around for takever vs ether?

29 from Atlanta. To be fair I’ve never heard anyone down here say any NY artist is their favorite.

Ether & takeover were around 03/04 right?
Atlanta was really big on local acts back then that the rest of the country doesn’t know about but they are classics here. Besides jeezy, Luda, TI, lil Jon, pastor Troy & usher we weren’t really checking for nationally known artists

LAD- classic double disc album and one of the only three double disc albums that i can consider that. In reality its a 4 mic album tho and isn’t goat level.
All Eyez on me- Same thing as lad
Reasonable Doubt- classic but it isnt goat level or even top 20.
College dropout- not a classic and isn’t great.
Gkmc- this album ain’t shyt to even be discussed with classics.

So by your own admission, Atlanta is an outlier city where no one is actually a hip hop fan, people only listen to local rappers.
So why would anything you experienced in Atlanta have any bearing on the rest of the country?
Or the opinions of hip hop heads?

I agree. Was a disappointment and not relatable to the movie in any way. Plus Kendrick is so extra at trying to be different now that it just comes off corny. It’s so refreshing but frustrating to hear him like when he was on nip album because he will drop a verse like the one on new freezer and you just know he’s better than that

Makaveli and LAD. Both are not on the same level as MATW/AEOM and RTD, in my opinion.
