:lupe: How much is it for lessons on bjj and kickboxing?

It's expensive for any martial art if you go to good quality sensei/mestre. Say goodbye to your social drinking budget and any other vices or habits. You'll average $200 per month easily if not more for class just once a week. The guys really out of shape and who have no confidence or never took a martial art in their life until the age of 30 usually drop $500+ a month for their first year or so.

MMA or Krav Maga.
They both teach stand up and ground game, Krav Maga is more practical though.

Krav Maga with a BJJ base. You gotta learn eye gouges, elbows, Small joint manipulations.
How do they practice eye-gouges and small joint manipulation without going blind/breaking fingers after one sparring session? :jbhmm:

Gimmick.

Krav Maga is real though.

52 is no gimmick & you're showing how little you know. I've had fam tell stories when they were locked up in the 80's about guys using 52 back then in real jail fights. Also one of my older cousins who was locked up in the 80's told us all a story of how these 2 guys were jumped by about 6-8 guys & handled them using 52. He said they were tagged a few times but were able to fight them off & put a few out till the guards broke it up

I pay 130 a month on the west coast for access to the academy 7 days a week. Mma 3 times a week.

Sone be Legends in places like new York city charge 220 a month. 500 a month? Just stop. You don't train and are spouting bulls hit

:mjcry: Guess I should do some research. I'm already working out to lose weight but I need to know how to legit defend myself.

Can't be :whoa: when some dude flexes on me in front of my son (if I ever get one).

$500 a month is the deluxe service 1-1 personalized training dude. :francis:

$130 a month sounds like just access to the facility. You are likely paying more than that if you want to take more than 1 course a week.

In a real street fight honestly speed and leverage is all that matters. The last thing you should be thinking of is going toe to toe with a nikka on the block. Most will not fight fair and 1/2 the time use some sort of weapon or object.

You always want to fight and negotiate from an advantageous position. Cast your ego aside and focus on the longer term outcome you are looking for which should be diffusing the situation.

Anytime you square up close on a nikka expect to get sucker punched. The thing is outside of the ring it's simply not worth it. You are not winning any accolades, money or fame just a potential fade, jail sentence and lawsuit.

Your first thought should be how can I get out of this situation alive with whoever I am with with the minimum amount of damage possible. That is all.
