Hi Coli brehs, my mother only has a couple of hours to live and I am hurting so bad inside right now. She had a sudden heart attack and then developed a brain aneurysm. I don't know what to do and it's hard to sleep or eat. I can't even cry, I just feel so numb right now.

I loved my mother so much and I tried to be the best son I could for her, but still feeling regretful for a lot of things. I was just on the phone with her having normal conversation, laughing and whatnot, and then 4 hours later that happens. Life always throw you curveballs at the most random times, so please remember to cherish and appreciate the times you have with your loved ones.

Sorry just needed somewhere to place my thoughts, it feels like a huge part of my soul was just ripped from my body.

bro, please just go be with her for the time you have left. and tell her how you feel about her that way you have no regrets about what you should have told her.

I lost my dad in february and still cried yesterday on his birthday.

My ex lost her mom a couple years ago and took it really hard. Just take time for yourself, no matter how much. Dont know how it’ll affect you until it happens. Get therapy if you need to, no shame.

This will be transformative and you will probably never be the same again. Best thing you can do is find a positive way to view death. But thats easier said than done. Keep yourself distracted will probably be the easiest thing to do. But take some time to get the grief out as well. However i will still send a prayer up,doctors arent always right. In fact you may want a second opinion before doing anything drastic,especially if shes an organ donor. Highly unlikely,but cant be too careful. Dont allow yourself to feel rushed
