Interesting.
I wouldn’t have left my kids in the car. Anything could’ve happened. Car could’ve been stolen. Could’ve been a car accident.
They were sleep. What if they woke up and she wasn’t there?
As for homeless campers, Walmart doesn’t have to man power to monitor the lot even if they were just regular people cooking.
The response below is pretty much what i was going to type
Walmart always had a policy where they would allow RVs to camp overnight. Recently due to the explosion of van life and homelessness, people have been making their lots permanent homes and many locations having been banning overnights.
It cuts both ways. Travelers/homeless folks don't have many well lit/safe places to park. Walmart does good business from this segment that lives hand to mouth.
All we know about this case is dude was negligent storing a hot plate. Mom was negligent leaving Babies in car. As a parent you only need to fukk up once, and money can't fix that fukk up. Dude 70 yrs old about to do 10 years. Be careful yall!
Yep
LOOK AT HIS REPLY
AND COMPARE IT TO THIS
shyt YOU WROTE.
HE EVEN ADMITS
HE WAS LEFT UNSUPERVISED AT 9 YRS OLD.

Yes, but you also understand things are different, i don’t know if more shyt is happening, or the internet scares us, (with so much gruesome news at our fingertips) or our parents were just lucky, but now with our generation being parents we are ridiculously hyper aware, and paranoid. I know you make mention of how back then it was kid killers/child molesters/other unmentionable acts. But it just didn’t deter our parents
But the thought of my child playing outside without me knowing exactly where they are with my eyes on them is scary, my mom would let me play sun up to sun down outside unsupervised and i never felt unsafe and she probably ain’t worry at all, but again times are different man, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who is a parent in this thread who grew up with parents who let their children have way more freedom than we would give ours
Bottom line she needed to bring them kids inside, kids now a days aren’t built the same and it’s unfortunate but this is literally something she could have stopped.
