yea never read the book but remember watchin the movie as a kid and bring with a loving mom and seeing how the mom did them dirty i couldnt comprehend it is one of those movies that stuck with me......too young to judge production and stuff but that movie right there had me

Just reading about the Graves Of The Fireflies makes me teary eyed. I don't think I could watch it.

Edit: I watched it. I cried man. I know it's anime and all but got damn. They were kids. They didn't know what was happening to them. Everything they ever knew was gone. Their house, their city, their parents. All gone. Then my man had to cremate his own little sister. All they had to do was go back to the shelter. But they didn't know better. No one even tried to help him. They just thought he was a bum. They couldn't get the police or someone to help them. They just walked by them and let him fukking starve to death. I can't comprehend that shyt. That some sad shyt. Some fukking sad shyt

Day. Today was my Friday, got paid, got that fresh haircut for the weekend. Kicked it with a new chick, we was vibing. After chilling with her hit jack for tacos. Decided to throw on "DEAR ZACHARY"....man my good day was fuccin over. That shyt had me stuck. Wow.
