It's always bothered me that whites don't have to worry about this in planning where they want to live like we have to. But then again their ancestors stole the country, to the victor goes the spoils.

what made you choose seattle over say denver or minneapolis? both of those have clean fresh air and high quality of life as well.
Seattle definitely doesn't get as cold as those places... I say Minneapolis is the Midwest version of Seattle, but the cold is not for everyone...

Seattle really only has like 1.5 months a year of perfect weather and the rest of it is not that good though...

It's a valid concern.

I never paid attention before (like checking the actual demographics) but, every city I've lived in has been over 40% black.

Philly is black as fukk. D.C. is black as fukk. Memphis is black as fukk.

Going from a 50% black city to a 6% black city is a big transition.
It isn't really that big of a deal... There are numerous successful blacks to politic with... They tend to stick together out there...

If he doesn't find any, he will be stuck hanging out with his work buddies because although Seattle is liberal... Yuppie Folks there are snobby and stick to their own unless you grew up with someone or had extensive time getting to know them....

Seattle looks like a great city to visit but I don't know about the weather though to live there. All of those gloomy looking days could drive me nuts being from Sunny California.

Them Etherian women though :banderas:

The bad weather in the Pacific Northwest is horribly overstated, only time it gets really bad is Nov-Feb when it might rain everyday for 2 weeks but at least you don't got to deal with snow on the ground for months, tornado's, hurricane's etc

Cascadia, from northern Cali to BC one of the best places on earth. Go from a beach on the Pacific Ocean through a forest of 100ft tall trees to being on a mountaintop in less than 2 hours :ahh:
