I just left Cleveland for Nova. First full day here today. Don't know if I'm tripping but it feels soulless. Seems like everyone just gives the cold shoulder. Finally saw another black man, head nodded him and even he ignored me.

Was up there on business and met a business associate there ... he had moved from southern VA ... late 20s early 30s... bro looked GONE . He was waxing most nostalgic about his hometown in southern VA , sounding like he had some regrets . Don’t get caught up in that NOVA promo ... sure it’s the busiest part of the state and carries much of the state in terms of economy , but man, that shyt is not for black folk.

Yep. Central/East NC and VA is fulla black folks.

You kinda gotta take what city nikkas say about any small city or town outside the major populated areas of the US with a grain of salt

State Troopers in VA are world class a$$holes. Be careful.

It's not THAT bad, lol. Been here over a year. Live in a quiet spot, work and go home. My neighbors are pretty nice folks. Plus, there are some folks from my hood here too. We stay outside on the grill. I say, it is what you make it.
