It's been a real long time since I've been excited about anything that Akai has put out, but that MPC X might be a day one cop for me. :wow:



I'm waiting for more technical specs but gat dern this looks like what the updated MV8800 should have been. :francis:

Standalone Hybrid breh. From what I've read on the Sweetwater page, you can plug it into your computer to act as a controller while still using the I/O. And since it's basically running the same software, that transition would be seamless. If the midi is just as tight as the 4000....:wow:

Need those tech specs.. :feedme:

It just hit me that 2.0 comes with audio tracks. :ohlawd:

mannnn. I haven't been making beats as much lately, more so EDM....but this may change that...

Why is this different from anything else on the market right now tho, bar the standalone feature
