Its all about the Al Gore's Rhythm. Every time you visit Youtube while logged off, and you are guaranteed to see a Mr. Beast video on the front page. The more impressions, the more viewers you get. I watched an interview of him and he said he and his crew spent close to a year just studying the YouTube algorithm before making their first video, and they remain focused on gaming the system. Good for them. I never watch his videos. Who confuses me is @Markiplier.

I went to search his name after this post and his name is listed as previously searched. But I’ve never even heard of him or ever watched any of his videos before :jbhmm: These guys gamed the algorithm on another level

yea, I've heard of him but never seen any of his videos recommended or anything ever.

I opened up youtube in an incognito window and, sure enough, I seen several of his videos on the first page. :jbhmm:

What kind of things did you learn if i may ask?

I've gotta charge you $19.99 for that brehda:mjpls:

He talked about the psychology behind the YouTube viewer. How content creators should create different "buckets" which are essentially the main topics a channel should discuss. You dont wanna spread yourself too thin on one channel, its gotta fit a theme.

What creates a clickable thumbnail, how they monitor the analytics within the first few hours and will swap out the image if needed.

How to capture your viewer's attention within the first few seconds so they dont click away. How adding things like b-roll footage can improve viewer retention.

Much of the value was learning how to interpret the analytics to find new opportunities for growth...Some may think Mr. Beast is just acting like a goofy white boy for easy clicks, but the time they put in preparing to record a 10 minute video is nuts.

By far the best training on social media I've been through...everybody else selling you shyt you can ironically find for free on YouTube.

Funnily enough, this stuff is ancient knowledge too. The algorithm is basically the ancient mystery school system of how to subjugate people through “magic”, “miracles” , “entertainment”, “ELECTricity”. That’s why you end up submitting to the scribe (which is what I like calling, subscribe, lol)

His videos consistently pulls more viewers than subscribers, it's the other way around for every other content creator who only get less than 10 percent of their subscribers number on per content

How does he have 116 million subscribers but his content regularly averages 150 million views yet,fpr context,PewDiePie who is the 2nd most subscribed channel at 111 million subscribers is only averaging 3 million views per video which is more in line with the analytics

The numbers this dude is pulling on damn near every video is record shattering and insane.

He's an industry plant.

Appreciate it. Has always been interesting to see the rise and fall of channels. I feel most youtubers barely use any strategy. Game theory for me always seemed like a coldblooded data guy, working the system as best as he can.

Was familiar with him for a while, but I listened to an episode of The Daily last week about his come up.

In short he's figured out what gets views and the used the "philanthropic" videos to keep subscribers and viewers engaged

I was getting a lot of his videos in the suggestions a few weeks back and I’ve never watched any of his content until recently. I checked out a few and they seem entertaining In a way that I could see why the kids love watching them. He also features people who are subscribed to him in the videos so you know the kids gonna be begging their parents to sign up. He basically owns the algorithm and won YouTube.

I didn’t even know Mr Beast Burger joints were his until I put two and two together. The burgers aren’t bad :ehh:
