YouTube pushes his videos. When you open the app without an account and look for the gaming category he's there.

It's lots of children and adults without accounts and curated recommendations watching his shyt.

If you take 10% of all the children over the age of 5 and under the age of 15, you would still have several hundred million viewers.

shyt is hit or miss as far as I can tell but it was one of those "ghost kitchens"... not sure if that makes a difference. First time around I was in heaven, second time I wondered what the hell happened. Third time it was amazing again. The bars are harder to fukk up so they're definitely the safer bet

His videos consistently pulls more viewers than subscribers, it's the other way around for every other content creator who only get less than 10 percent of their subscribers number on per content

How does he have 116 million subscribers but his content regularly averages 150 million views yet,fpr context,PewDiePie who is the 2nd most subscribed channel at 111 million subscribers is only averaging 3 million views per video which is more in line with the analytics

The numbers this dude is pulling on damn near every video is record shattering and insane.

You don’t have to be a follower of someone to watch their videos. That’s not how YouTube works

Someone is playing with the algorithm, that literally does not make sense.

Have never seen his videos, but my theory is that it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy...

His videos are frequently in the top 10 and so he gets a lot of random eyeballs w/ every video, almost like a Netflix suggestion. OTOH, less popular YT channels have to rely subscribers or non-subscribers actively seeking out their content

theres nothing fishy going on,
youtube is gonna suggest videos that associate with your subscribers recent viewing habbits and age/interests
100 million followers means billions of recommendations going out to similar viewers
people have to click the video, all he does is make his videos open to all viewers, "giving away cars" "curing 1000 people of blindness" lgbtq, conservatives, goth people, teenagers, older people
would all be interested in a video like that his videos cater to all audiences while other peoples videos cater to smaller ones

Listened to a few of his interviews. I’m pretty sure he’s on some spectrum, but he’s basically spent his whole life dedicated to only studying YouTube algorithms, retention, content and so on. Watched a few videos after listening to him discuss content then ended up a regular viewer.
