Yeah, dudes on The Coli got that bad. Like, just because YOU say something wasn't up to par or whatever, doesn't mean that was the general consensus.son u can't even be serious wit this shyt u writing...do u think ur opinions change history or some shyt?...or that they automatically = fact?
Let's not act like that Let Me Blow Your Mind was actually a great song. She had appearances after album 3, but she definitely wasn't poppin.

"Let Me Blown Your Mind" won the Grammy in 2002 for "Best Rap Collab", which was a new category that year. It also won an MTV Video Music Award. So to say it wasn't a great song puts you in a MINORITY that is contrary to what history dictates. It's your opinion ("it wasn't that great") versus the reality (it garnered acclaim and awards).
That's the type of revisionist positionin - whether intentioned or not, cause this ain't personal, @nieman - that distorts the history of the culture over time. I'm TELLIN' y'all in about another 5-10 years you're going to have a whole generation of young cats SWEARING that Drake was the first "singing rapper", it's starting already.

i bet eve's album from '99 moved more units in 2000 than lil kim did. and the rest of this is guest appearances and industry stuff, which just proves my point. GLORIFIED INDUSTRY SOCIALITE.

. you act like we're talking about Nas whenever mike is brought up.
some of these songs youre championing were dated and met with lukewarm reactions.
