Forget all the DRM and used game stuff, why should I pay $100 more for a less powerful system?

That's why I'm going with PS4.

But I think MS thinks that the people buying these games won't care about that so they went with the cheaper parts. I mean if you look at the previous gens the more powerful system has never really won.

Of course the difference this time is the parts are all PC based and similar so maybe people will smarten up. In the long run when it comes down to games Sony has been unrivaled for damn near 20 years.

well you gotta remember that in the past few gens, the more powerful system was generally the more expensive system and usually came out later

that the only reason nikkas picked the 360 over PS3, it was $100 cheaper and delivered more or less the same experience, plus it came out a year earlier

now both systems are dropping at the same time and the more powerful one is $100 cheaper

ain't no way history holds....you put the One and PS4 side by side and tell people the one that is $100 cheaper is also the more powerful system spec wise and 90% of people will buy the PS4

I live in Louisiana, from Tornadoes and Hurricane season, its no shock when it does go out just that time of year.

The only thing happening right now is Microsoft being the company it's been for the last 25 years. Like many companies when they really need support in the midst of tense competition they'll kiss a lot of consumer butt. Once they get on their feet they'll stand 10 feet tall and become oppressive to their consumer base.

I'm rocking with Sony this gen because they have a better product, but let's not forget they needed to be humbled from that attitude too. It's a cycle. If PS4 crushed the One they might come back with some nonsense and on the flip side the Xbox Two will be a beast. These corporations are not your friend. I love the competition though.

my power is usually fine...for a while. a few outages that last a few seconds in my area(Northern Louisiana) my cable is usually 1st to go, then net after a while.

Last time when Hurricane sandy hit over here, I had power on my side of the block but my internet was gone for like a week and a half.

Let's say an Xbone owner's power stays but internet and cable go out, they basically have a souped up dvd player.
