So apparently they have a vision for this system DRM but they won't go into detail about it.

To me it seems like if this DRM plan succeeds for them then that just opens up for more restrictions as the gens proceeds and I can't support that in any way possible.
I already fukked up caving in and paying for online multi (Live) and now Sony is doing the same thing. You're not tricking me again MS

Forget all the DRM and used game stuff, why should I pay $100 more for a less powerful system? The gap between them is only going to get more apparent when Naughty Dog & Santa Monica starts cranking out games. I may get a One, but it damn sure won't be before I get a PS4.

I guess it would depend on your definition of more powerful. Obviously they're touting the voice command, gesture, and media capabilities as something the competition doesn't have over the graphics and tech details which their target audience may not be able to differentiate.

Unless you are talking about a special circumstance like being in the military etc. There are not to many people who have a decent income buying 400-500 dollar game systems (which are design to be internet connected) and don't have internet.

Lets be real here. Now it will suck it leave out a fringe group of people. But overall most have high speed internet who is in MS demographic for the X1.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out because the past few gens they build for the lowest common denominator and build from there.

I think in terms of multiplat the last 2 gens usually went:
PS2 - GC (if made) - XBOX - PC
360 - PS3 - PC (more ground work towads the end)

I am still assuming the XBONE will have most of the work done, then pay attention to the PS4 since they are so similar outside of the PS4 being better in terms of specs underneath.

The Wii U is technically the lowest, but I think most have thrown them in the bushes. We might never see another EA game on Nintendo again.

Man ...he basically stripped away the option of playing offline and said fukk you if u can't get connection...yall nikkas need to think out of the box sometimes man...this company is so arrogant they can literally tell yall they don't give a fukk about u while yall still support these a$$holes...they wouldn't be seeing a cent of my money cause if they can pull some shyt like this without batting an eye...imagine what else they can do in the future...
