ATL…overly
:russ: I been saying they should move Melo, this team isn't going to compete for a title any time soon so why keep him around? It ain't like he moves the needle enough to make them contenders, the Celtics are about to get all of the Nets picks, the Cavs have a 3-5 year window, your Bulls have a young core. There's just no room for them and I don't see how they factor in with Melo over the next couiple years.

Move him and make it all about Porzingis and the players you get in return for Melo.

I guess but I thought the Knicks were selling credibility with Melo & the rest of their young talent. You get rid of Melo for assets, but you still don't know what you're getting in Porzingis. Not saying I completely agree with how they're building their team, but I understand

Melo is there to give off the impression they're trying to compete, the East is better now than when he was traded to the Knicks and him + a mish mash of players isn't gonna get them deep into the playoffs.

You may not know what you have in Porzingis but you absolutely know Melo isn't going to get you a title on his own.
