Melo is there to give off the impression they're trying to compete, the East is better now than when he was traded to the Knicks and him + a mish mash of players isn't gonna get them deep into the playoffs.

You may not know what you have in Porzingis but you absolutely know Melo isn't going to get you a title on his own.

One thing I do know, they're competing better without Melo out there. If they did trade him, I think they'd still fight even if they only won 20-25 games

Jerian Grant is gonna be a nice player. Loved him at Notre Dame. Wanted the Bulls to go after in the draft to shore up our backcourt with a solid back-up combo guard, but Im happy with Portis :win:

I guess but I thought the Knicks were selling credibility with Melo & the rest of their young talent. You get rid of Melo for assets, but you still don't know what you're getting in Porzingis. Not saying I completely agree with how they're building their team, but I understand

They could have had a core of Grant, Butler, Porz for the future :manny: Much better future then bad knee Melo and c level talent

Mike Scott got the shot but he's gotta go up harder than that
