The problems plaguing AADOS are tied to white supremacy, the same system that welcomes certain African and Carribean immigrants to America and treats them better than the black people whose families have lived here for centuries. Denying that non-AADOS black people are not subject to the same discriminatory practices that have historically beset AADOS means you are not interested in solutions and simply wish to peddle a sob story because Tariq and others have hurt your feelings. :francis:
So address the racism and the oligarchs everyone against each other

Look we probably agree on "what should be done" but I disagree with this AA gang shyt.
And why do you disagree "with this AA gang shyt"? It seems like a personal matter to you.

I believe Yvette and most AA gang are bigots or don't really understand causes of AADOS' plight. It makes no sense for someone to spend this much time on foreigners when the issues for AADOS are tied to capitalism and racism.
Like I said this is a personal matter for you. lol. No "AAgang" and Yvette are NOT bigots. You being non-AA, we just come off as bigots to you(and Im only part AA mind you). The goal Yvette and AAgang been trying to do is DEFINE African-Americans as a specific ethnic group with a unique history, culture and experience. By doing that we can be like say.... The Palestinians, Native Americans or Kurds or other disenfranchised group and stand on our OWN. Every other group claiming AA coming in and out of the house has made that difficult and confusing. You have groups leeching off of us, one minute claiming our culture/accomplishments and then one minute saying "Im not AA im Bajan!"

By becoming a more specific group AAs can now become ambassadors of our OWN culture which will make culture vulturing even more difficult. It'll be even easier to identify our problems(disenfranchisement since slavery) which is what Yvette has been doing. Heck we been doing this way before Yvette on the Coli with threads like this!
Defining the "African-American"

It only comes off as bigot because non-AA Blacks are not included. As someone who is part Haitian if they are included then the goal WOULD NOT WORK. Haitians have been trying to PRESSURE the French govt for decades. How would Haitians feel if AAs tried to include themselves in this? Their culture, history, etc. Yeah, both groups are Black but the history/experience is different. How would Afro-Brasilians feel if LARGE amounts of AAs start swarming down into say... Bahia or Rio. They look down on the local Afro-Brasilians for being disenfranchised, leech off their culture and then get made when Afro-Brasilians say they can NOT be apart of their reparations because they are not Brasilian descendants of slaves and do not share the same experiences. An Afro-Brasilian can say, "we were enslaved far LONGER than these AAs. They don't share our experience here in BRASIL."

Get what we're saying? There's nothing bigoted about this shyt.

The Coates interview was fukking bullshyt b/c as bad as Bernie's answer was(and it was bad) what was Hillary's views on reparations? Who's policies would have been drastically better for AADOS?

Yeah I agree he was hypocritical. I don't even like Coates. But my point is that he is NOT in the same class as Yvette, Tone Talks or AAgang.

AAs are mostly affected by capitalism and racism.....NOT Immigration. So it is foolish to attack foreigners in the way Yvette and her followers do.
Yvette's stance on immigration is the same as Tariq but she doesn't attack immigrants. She is focused on native Black Americans being an exclusive group thru lineage and not accepting everyone who has a little melanin in them into our fold.

Nah bruh.... at least not for me. If they stuck with just calling for the reforms then:hubie: I agree with them.. But they haven't

- Ninjas were agreeing with Tariq in the African/HIV/ATL thread, Yvette agreeing with GOP immigration policy, Boat gang, etc.

Tariq is another story and I already called that out.

And addressing the red bolded if you want reforms then you have to CLARIFY that your ethnic group has a unique, history, culture, lineage and experience otherwise it'l all fall apart. Reparatios for example would be a complete mess.

My Haitian brehs are we Latinos?

As someone who is part Haitian descent I have always wondered about this...:dwillhuh: Do Haitians even consider themselves?

I mean...
  1. Haiti was the FIRST Latin American country.
  2. Was colonized by the French.
  3. People speak a Latin(French) influenced language.
  4. Brazilians are also "Latino" and they don't speak a Spanish language.
  5. Culture has some Latin influence.
  6. The term was first coined by the French..
So do any Haitian brehs even consider ya selves Latino?? Or nah.. I mean I havent met any who have. Many seen to think latinos are only brown skinned people who speak Spanish.

Me thinks it has to do with Haitians being too "black" to be latino.:mjpls:

So are we or nah? I mean I know most(and I) can care less.

Non-AADOS blacks catching feelings because we choose to recognize our shared struggle as descendants of the men and women whose enslavement built the very country that they migrate to with anti-AADOS sentiment. I won't lie, it enrages me when I see so-called "black" people taking exception to AADOS demanding that this country is held to account for what it did to our ancestors. This is why the diaspora depends on AADOS, because we are the only black people on this planet who still actively resist white supremacy. It is why we are hated by everyone. If it weren't for us, the struggle would be dead and the whitening of our race into a mass of confused mullatos would proceed with haste. :francis:

I support your struggle. I just want Biafra.

As an Igbo who wants Biafra to exist. How would you feel if random AAs/Diasporans who took DNA tests and found out they are Igbo started latching onto your movement? Not only to support but they also WANT the benefits of the aftermath. When Biafra becomes a reality they are gonna want those govt positions, shares of resources, etc. These people who while they do have Igbo admixture their ancestor never even went thru the Biafran war.

Thats all the ADOS crowd is saying and I just want non-AA Blacks to understand that. But it seems you get it.

I want African-Americans to claim Biafra. You are our brethren. Most of the Africans who were sent to Virginia/Maryland were Igbo. Biafra will have a right of return for our major descendant populations: Af-Ams, Jamaicans, Bajans and people from St Vincent and St Lucia

I feel you. Obviously AAs are the only people that should be getting reparations from the US government. Just common sense.

But when have a 2 hour video saying Trump’s not not wrong about birthrights citizenship:francis:... there’s only one group of people that supports that in a major way.
