Exactly my point. I don't get why they would rely on 1 show for their success I honestly believe maybe the corporation is trying to phase out MTV FOR GOOD!

Cuz MTV is a 40+ Year old brand, the name alone with average content (Not good, not bad) would get people to tune it. Basically there's too many ways to save MTV that this feels on purpose.

MTVs main demographic are 12-17 year olds. You know what 12-17 years haven’t done in the last 10-15 years. Sit around and watch music videos on TV
