Actually it is, especially when it's live in Times Square in the middle of the day. MTV probably had to cover the NYPD's ass in terms of security because anytime NSYNC or Backstreet Boys came through they'd have to shut Times Square down. TRL became a spot like any late night spot in terms of press runs.I still don't understand why would a show like this or 106&park ends. All u are doing is playing videos. It can not be costly to produce a show like this
