I still don't understand why would a show like this or 106&park ends. All u are doing is playing videos. It can not be costly to produce a show like this

They dont get ratings though they can put a reality show on for cheaper and get ratings and advertising.

If this is successful, Viacom might bring back 106.

Wasn't aware of those. I still think if the TRL reboot is successful, they'll start doing nostalgic things on other channels they own.

It is interesting that they're down to use the live studio again. They only use that shyt in rare occasions. I wonder if this means they'll go back to doing New Year's Eve specials (I doubt it though, the other channels put in work to hold that shyt down on Times Square)

I think several years back they were occasionally doing yo mtv raps specials and there were a few rap city ones also if im not mistaken. I guess im not enthusiastic because i remember most of these going downhill especially 106 and rap city lol.

The game is way too different for trl to be relevant & most importantly successful again since the internet eliminates any need of dependence to watch trl.

MTV is moving backwards by grasping for something that's outdated.

Trl is blockbuster status.
