Theres been a few strong hints about Piper....I mean she all but screams red herring, but maybe shes the killer, and they are being smarter then the audience, or assuming the audience is not smart...She drops in the coffee shop to offer an an ominious Greek chorus every few scenes, communicates almost only with the daughter of the man who jilted her Dad, in the convoluted blood vendetta the series/movies continually play on.
