Harden never attacked Zubac but instead was forcing switches to iso vs Morris and PG. That set the wrong tone

There were several open 3s by other guys that they simply missed but you could argue that by that point the team was feeling pressed.

Next week's game vs the Lakers is huge because it's one last look at the other elite team. If the 2nd seed isn't happening then Hou needs to take an honest look at whether the 4th seed (2nd round vs Lakers) isn't more advantageous than a 3rd seed (2nd round vs Clippers).

Lakers bigs can't switch everything so more opportunities to exploit the perimeter defense and get more open rhythmic 3s... but at the cost of zero resistance in the paint/boards with AD and Dwight.

Next 6 games, they need to win pretty much every one of those and no matter who is on the court. They can’t afford to keep dropping games vs subpar teams and not showing up on occasions. Even vs the bad teams, they need to go in actually looking at them as another professional NBA team and put their foot on their necks. It’s so damn annoying when they act like they’ll just waltz on there for an easy win. Just respect other teams as pros, and beat them.

How does this happen, you get pummeled, then your post game interview is full of smiling?? D’Antoni is a scum and a cancer, and I told people not to jump on his bandwagon after the trade. After making changes, he NEVER adjusts WITHIN games. He has historically let his teams die and his answer has always been “they’ll figure it out”.

I’m still pretty meh about a season restart just cause I think the entire thing is a parody the way they’re presenting stuff. It comes across as a Summer Camp + exaggerates summer league. They don’t legitimately care about the players, they just don’t want to miss out on the money, and the possibility of a 4th Lebron ring. Ideally, the Lakers get their season ended quickly and ESPN has a meltdown.
