I don't want him here.

That aside, we have a glaring hole at the 3 spot and height deficiency at the 4 spot that both kicked our ass last year. Now, if we could acquire a quality stretch 4, I'd just bump PJ to the 3 and that'd be that... 2 birds with 1 stone. But there's probably nothing on the market left or affordable.

As we are, if we switch everything vs Lakers or Clippers, we're gonna get killed on the boards even if we defend well.

Westbrook is gonna help on the boards. I don't expect him to average 10+ like he has the last 3 years but 7-8.5 is an added plus. Obviously getting a stretch 4 that can bang and rebound would be great.

Don;t think we are gonna bring him back. We got Chandler for back up + Hartenstein, and I haven't heard anything about a deal.
He could be the 4 cuz I don't foresee Iggy getting bought out and that's a terrible contract for us to pick up. Not ideal but he more consistent than Gary Clarke (who I found out where he stays at Downtown when I went to pick up some shyt for my pahtnah).

I just can't see us putting a non-shooter, meh defender at 4 now that we have Westbrook who is suspect at both. :ld:

Im really rooting for yall next season.I need Houston or Denver to come out the West.

I cant root for Kawhi/Clippers and i will never root for LeBron on the court .Yall winning would also allow Russ to give a big middle finger to the trolls in the media which i would enjoy alot as well...

Westbrook needs to put the theory of #freebounds to rest

I mean, he can still take the easy ones from Capela for all I care, bc fukk that nygga

They talked about this on a podcast I listened to, can't remember which one, that W=when Durant left, getting the triple doubles and being allowed to stat chase may have been part of the deal for Westbrook to come back to OKC. Because that was his contract year, and getting him that MVP is what allowed the Thunder to give him the super max and incentives to kick in on his Nike deal (just like Harden had with his Adidas one).

Hopefully, coming to Houston that won't be part of the deal with his arrival and he focuses more on playing winning ball.

I will say after OD'ing on Wb content, I do think he will have a very effective year getting to the rim. The only time Thunder really shot the ball from three like that was in 2012 (their finals year) and other than that they haven't been a very 3 heavy team in terms of volume or percentage.
