Stop itTommy Wright The 3rd did the same things Big did, but I'll give Big the edge on storytelling
But don't get me started on Project Pat's storytelling
Actually is there a storytelling thread because![]()
Nas was definitely GOAT-level from '94-'99.
I had him and B.I.G. on the same level back then. But after '99, Nas was never the same again. Still Top 10, but he lost that untouchable aura he had before. Overall though, I think B.I.G. is the actual GOAT. With just the two albums. Which is crazy.
Here's a remedy, of Hennessy from your enemies, so you'll remember meNo sir.
That's Tupac.
All facts2pac needed Biggie to promote All Eyes On Me and Makaveli. Biggie never needed Pac to promote anything. 2Pac used Faith on a song, he lied about Biggie being involved in his shooting. Dedicated a whole diss song to Biggie. 2pac needed that Biggie energy to pop off like he did in 1996.
There is a clip of TI reading PACs lyrics without knowing who it is..nikka threw that shyt on the floor in utter disgust and compared that shyt to cat and the hatHere's a remedy, of Hennessy from your enemies, so you'll remember me
Biggie Smalls is the illest
He tries to mimic him a lotSidebar: Anybody else think Pusha T is eerily similar to Big with the raps? May be just me and how I listen to the shhit,. Totally different voice and presence so it’s easy to miss, but the bars are madd similar, I can hear that Big is probably his inspiration in rap.
Someone made a better video that's private but this an extra verse to Somebody's Got To Die that didn't make the final cut
I think Biggie’s mic charisma and way with words carries him over the edge in story telling for me. But Nas was a little more creative. So I guess they balance out each other.i just listened to Mook..lol
I cant call it. Best thing about Big and Nas was you can tell they battled through storytelling raps.
if you like Big in that, cool.... If you prefer Nas, cool
they were even in storytelling to me. Rae and Ghost were next
nikkas think raekwon is fire?? Alot of times he just be rumbling like nore. It sounds good but there's really no substance( and personally I like nore more)i just listened to Mook..lol
