Here's one thing that I DO like about this show that I didn't expect:
The keep setting up the fact that "humans are idiots". Murderbot is constantly letting you know that humans have no clue what he's up to.
Then the immediately cut to a scene where the humans are like "...how do we deal with the Murderbot situation? "

my guess is they probably thought they were gonna sell the series to a cable channel like FX or AMC and definitely NOT apple tv+, which would explain the shortness of the episodes.

Whoever said Apple uses AI to name their shows is right. With that said it's an interesting concept. It feels like a dark comedy.
Yeah, this is an example of a show that benefits from binge watching. I didn't "find" this show until last weekend so it all runs together for me. But now waiting an entire WEEK for the next 20+ min episode is annoying.
It sounds genuinely interesting. It's a shame that it has such a bad name. I haven't tried it yet but I'll see this weekend

Caught up with Murderbot, since the finale is coming this week. With the short episodes that end on a cliff-hanger, I found the show worked better as a binge for me. Still don't love it, most of my enjoyment comes from Murderbot having to deal with the space hippies and their human emotions. He's carrying like 90% of the humor for me. Would like it more if the overall show was funnier.
