Binged up to the latest episode this weekend. Not bad

Kind of like "Deadpool" (minus Bugs Bunny) mixed with RoboCop stranded on a comedy "Raised By Wolves" planet.

Here's one thing that I DO like about this show that I didn't expect:
The keep setting up the fact that "humans are idiots". Murderbot is constantly letting you know that humans have no clue what he's up to.

Then the immediately cut to a scene where the humans are like "...how do we deal with the Murderbot situation? " .


I didn't catch up to the fact that Murderbot really ISN'T all that much smarter than a human until

He totally failed to catch on to the fact that LeeBeeBee was a threat.

Plus, the expedition leader called him out on deleting instruction manual files in order to make hard drive space to download TV shows. He's actually not any smarter than the 'dumb' humans.

my guess is they probably thought they were gonna sell the series to a cable channel like FX or AMC and definitely NOT apple tv+, which would explain the shortness of the episodes.

Whoever said Apple uses AI to name their shows is right. With that said it's an interesting concept. It feels like a dark comedy.

Yeah, this is an example of a show that benefits from binge watching. I didn't "find" this show until last weekend so it all runs together for me. But now waiting an entire WEEK for the next 20+ min episode is annoying.

The name is goofy asf which is what put me off initially but it’s actually decent lol

It sounds genuinely interesting. It's a shame that it has such a bad name. I haven't tried it yet but I'll see this weekend
