Nah, the Imam gives a "sermon" about a particular topic; whether it has to do with being generous, treating your parents kindly, etc., that goes on for about 30 minutes, and then you pray after. I would go in there any time you can and let the Imam (the leader of prayer at the mosque) know that you're interested in learning more about the religion and he'll give you info as well as answer any questions that you have

Mashallah, I'm black muslim and its really the only true religion. Come Fridays around 1pm to any mosque, that's the "Sunday" of Islam, and you will be welcomed with open arms, racism is against our religion.

Tony bromo I want to say you have started your way in the right path, it is up to you now to see it through. There is no black or Arab in Islam, we are all brothers Go to the mosque and talk to any brother and try to get more information from them, dont be scared by appearance, some of the brothers who come off as scary are some of the nicest individuals. yo you can just head to the Mosque around 8 p.m. any night for the next two weeks. You'll get to interact with a lot of Muslims who are there to break their fast and then go inside and pray. Plus, you'll get a free meal out of it
