The outrage over this ban has little to do with actual helpless refugees or people actually caring about Muslims. It's about the money that American companies are losing by losing their CEOs and high-skilled employees.

I can't really speculate as to the specifics, but it can be a wide range of possibilities, for instance harsher penalties for crimes that are more common in black neighborhood, granting police more rights in terms of "enforcing', as in they won't have to worry about suspension and review exercises as much when they attack blacks, reduce aid to programs that traditionally benefit blacks etc.

My main point in this thread is that there is no progress/justice without an economic incentive. The fact that cops aren't punished for shooting black men (of no consequence) just proves my point.

at you thinking things can't get worse for black people if cops actually get a REAL legal mandate for shooting people.

What Trump is doing is not unconstitutional nor illegal. Don't know if most on the Coli don't Google or are first generation Americans. Congress under Truman's administration during the Communist era passed the 1952 Immigration and Nationality Act with clause 212(f) states:
Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate. Whenever the Attorney General finds that a commercial airline has failed to comply with regulations of the Attorney General relating to requirements of airlines for the detection of fraudulent documents used by passengers traveling to the United States (including the training of personnel in such detection), the Attorney General may suspend the entry of some or all aliens transported to the United States by such airline.
Green card/permanent residents are aliens, however, they must show grounds of inadmissibility and have due process. Judge Ann Donnelly of Eastern District NY, appointed by Obama, issued a temporary stay which affects JFK and LaGuardia. Leonnie Brinkema of the Eastern District issued a similar injunction affecting Dulles and Reagan Intl airports. Most likely this will got to Federal Circuit US Court of Appeals and be struck down, would be surprised if not. There was no communication with local authorities for enforcement causing all the snafus at the international airports and multinational corporations. Also, he must honor due process for non-citizens which to covers everyone in the US from my understanding. These residents cannot be sent back immediately but they can be detained indefinitely.
Being admitted to this country is only a right for US citizens.

You can never be denied entry into the US with or without passport as an American citizen. This is why you can cross the border by land/sea with birth certificate for those of us who live near Mexico/Canada; no matter how much those lowly GS-7s at CBP want to show out! May take longer for secondary verification if they want to be difficult. I am speaking from experience. Also, if you ever taken a family cruise, they will ask you provide your birth certificate. Passport is needed for air travel as foreign countries won't let you board without it
