Black people with money aren't excused from dealing with racism and white supremacy :francis:

Capitalism has little to do with racism and WS

Black people with money generally adhere to white supremacy themselves. :francis:

It's not even about the individual, it's about acting as a collective. Which most black people don't.

I can't think of a single powerful/influential political black interest group. :dame:

I'm saying, with the Muslim ban, a lot of executive types, a lot of upper class and wealthy people were left out in the cold. They had the resources and the connections to reach out and set some of this reaction up, ACLU and whatnot.

Black people with money are still subject to dealing with WS. See:

Oprah
Mike Vick
Bill Cosby

And now you're changing the subject and modifying your argument :dead:

So you're actually proving my point. Money didn't protect them from WS :francis:

Right :francis:

They don't even have to set up this reaction themselves. A lot of people are already working on their behalf because like you said, a lot of the upper echelon of this society are being affected by this.

I remember reading earlier today that Google sent an emergency order demanding that all their executives who might be affected by this return to the States immediately.

If cops were shooting black people with the same kind of credentials, I can guarantee that they wouldn't be getting off scotch-free.

I don't think that's the point, the point is that ain't shyt gets done for free (except maybe for whites). It's not goodwill or people doing things for Muslims because they love them. Someone somewhere got paid behind this and that's why the response has been so swift

I'm saying that it doesn't matter how much money a black person makes, it ultimately doesn't shield you from racism /WS

You keep talking about "a black person" - singular, not plural. And that's the problem right there. :dame:

And it's also a problem that most of black wealth predominately comes from the entertainment and sports industry and even then, not from position of power (ie owning a team, production company etc).

Tokenism doesn't help in the fight against WS but I wasn't aware that that was the argument that was being made here. :comeon:

Can you name any prominent black person that was shot and the cop got off?

Answer that question and I'll answer yours. :stopitslime:

The outrage over this ban has little to do with actual helpless refugees or people actually caring about Muslims. It's about the money that American companies are losing by losing their CEOs and high-skilled employees.
