Events like Bloody Sunday roused international outrage and made America look bad in the eyes of the world which is part of the reason why LBJ started to get shyt done.

And, only 12-13% of the estimated Muslim population are in these countries. And, once again, six out of the seven countries are active war zones, and the other country is a terrorist supporter in Iran.
