Yeah, like I said in that post, both teams are lucky either isn't down 1-3 right now.

A lot of OKC's struggles are that they're having trouble adapting to the officiating, which we expected might happen. Fortunately for them, they have more adjustments to make than Denver has. All the Nuggets can rely on now is that they've got the legs to get two more wins. If they don't, then they'll lose, it's as simple as that.
Nah your assessment is just flat out wrong. Denver 3pt shooting is closer in line with their actual regular season shooting our starters are legimatey shooting 14% and below from 3 and almost 70% from the line. Even shai is shooting 9!% from 3

He’s never had a left hand and I never understood why more teams don’t force him left. The game plan should be don’t double, make him a scorer, and force him left

IVE SEEN HIM
MAKE LEFT HANDED HOOKS
IN THE PAST WHEN
HES BEEN ON FIRE
SO HES CAPABLE OF DOING IT
BUT HE CLEARLY HAS NO
CONFIDENCE IN IT WHEN
HES NOT ON HEAT CHECK TYPE OF TIME.

HE BETTER SHOOT NOTHING
BUT LEFT HANDERS IN BETWEEN GAMES

Basically this.

Denver firing Malone so close to the playoffs has got Adelman in a mix because he doesn't know how to manage the rotation properly, along with guys simply not being playable in the playoffs.

Just look at this game:

JDub - 33 minutes
Chet - 29 minutes
Hartenstein - 33 minutes
Shai - 38 minutes

Jokic - 43 minutes
Braun - 44 minutes
Murray - 44 minutes
AG - 38 minutes.

They're leaning far too hard on their starters, and it's no wonder why they're struggling to be consistent on offense. Jokic is out here playing 10 more minutes than both OKC's bigs, and cats are really wondering why he's struggling to be at his best.

What the fukk are you even talking about?

My assessment isn't wrong.

The fact of the matter is this -

Denver were up 2-1 coming in today's game, and if Jokic or Murray shot at an even average efficiency (in a two possession game), they could easily be up 3-1 right now.

OKC's lucky that isn't the case, especially since rarely ever is Jokic this inefficient for 2-3 games in a row. OKC's fortunate they're playing a clearly fatigued, injured and frustrated version of him, where he's having a hard time replicating what he showed in Game 1.

And as I need to reiterate, Denver is fortunate too that they aren't down 1-3 in this series either (they've had a number of breaks go their way where they aren't in that hole). Both teams have had their own struggles in this series which the other hasn't completely capitalized on as of yet. I really don't know why you're arguing against something which is obvious to see.

We haven't shot average efficiency in no game outside of game 2 , we literally haven't shot no where near efficient. Not one player on okc is efficient from the field our best 3pt shooter right now is caruso, Murray and Gordon still shooting well from 3

Okc shot 39% from 3 vs 32 % this series
82% from ft vs 78 this series

Denver shot 37 from 3 vs 34% this series

77 from from ft vs 78 this series

Please tell me how efficiency would benefit denver more than us especially considering they're running zone defense which efficiency breaks. You remove game 2 we probably shooting in the 20s from 3

Y'all are correct series could be 3-1 for either team because the games have been so close except for game 2. I just think OKC doesn't pass the eye test for me, you could really tell how important experience and confidence is especially down the stretch. OKC had lapses again in their offense. When the Nuggets play zone, Shai doesn't know what to do. He's also not a good passer and never drives or breaks down the defense to create but rather to score because in the regular season he's usually getting the and 1 call. JDub is inconsistent, Chet was non existent today, etc. If their 3 main guys are consistent on offense they're the best team in the league. The reason they won tonight was because of Caruso. He made a few 3s when it seemed the team was ice cold, then got a few tips and steals to break momentum and most importantly he was setting screens late in the 4th to get Denvers zone out of position which it worked because Wallace and Wiggins made a few 3s out of them.

Shais play making is fine, the problem is we're playing terrible lineups that have both bigs often in the dunker spot.

Dort cant shoot for shyt.
Chets flat shooting every 3
Hartenstein basically irrelevant on offense.

The starting lineup is literally unplayable at this point on offense, it shouldn't be relied on to close out games im fine starting it , but to close out it shouldn't be the line up because you can just double shai all game leave the 3 i listed.

Or just maybe he's playing too many minutes and asked to do too much when he's on the floor (look at how many minutes he's playing in comparison to OKC's bigs). He did an all-time carry during the regular season, dragging the team to the 4th seed when Gordon was injured for half the season and Murray was busy trying to work himself into shape.

He killed OKC in Game 1, so let's not act like he isn't capable of doing so.

It's just fatigue and his elbow injury that's affecting his last few performances.

He has the biggest motor in the league, but he isn't a robot.

Partially right. I'm not excusing the elbow for the extremely poor playmaking. When you have more turnovers than assists when assists been your bread & butter, then you got exposed. OKC is the number one defense and been doing it all season at a historic rate. It isn't at all a coincidence when Jokic struggling after Game 1, when OKC made adjustments onto him. His fatigue is a factor more because OKC is wearing him out while rotating their biggest to keep them out of foul trouble unlike the 1st game. When dealing with Chet, I-Hart, J-Will back to back to back throughout the game, that'll take a toll. The mistake OKC made in Game 1 was mostly have Chet on him. Yet and still OKC should've still WON game 1 had it not been for their coach making dumb decisions in the final seconds. In fact, it's why OKC lost both game that they had in the bag mainly due to not being used to closing out in close games. However, that experience helped them to win game 4.

The problem is that the Nuggets DO NOT have a back-up center which forces Jokic to be out there for extremely long minutes. OKC been banking on the fatigue of Jokic, but at the same time, banking on the fatigue of the Nuggets as a whole. They are very aware that the Nuggets have virtually no rest by playing playoff ball every other day for 3 weeks straight, and this back & forth flights back to the mile-high Denver city.
