Nuggets are a tough out for anyone.

They have a complete team and everyone knows and plays their role around the Joker. And he’s pretty much unstoppable.

Thunder will be fine in that they have the talent and depth to get them wins, but what answer do they have to stopping Jokic? How are they going to counter the Nuggets down the stretch in Denver?

They still have a lot of questions to answer.

Someone mentioned it in here already, but this game was eerily similar to Game 1 between Clips/Nuggets. The Clips controlled the game from the jump, all the way until the end of the 3rd, and the Nuggets pulled out a miracle in the 4th to push it to OT and ultimately ended up winning it. It ended up being costly in the end throwing away a game like that.

They might not be able to stop Jokic, but 40 and 20 and still should've lost the game. Thunder tend to get undisciplined at times like not boxing out and allowing Gordon and Braun to grab 11 offensive rebounds. I can understand Joker grabbing some offensive rebounds but you can't let a team grab 20 of them. Late fouls allowing Nuggets to get points at the line and stop the clock in the 4th.

Thunder shouldn't be countering the Nuggets they are the better and more aggressive team. They need to keep attacking. They have to watch their fouls and get better possessions. Seems they were trying to not lose the game instead of win the game. Nuggets were trying to win and that's what happened. You shouldn't get 18 TO's while making Joker have more TO's than assists and lose. You should win every time. The coach has to do better. All they need is one of JDub or Chet to show up. The two centers need to watch their non Joker fouls also. Point of attack defense needs to keep Murray out of the lane. Keep their energy up.
