All those folks who were Jokic stans all of a sudden looking at him different after the game 7 performance getting clamped up by Caruso. The stans making excuses talking about interim coach, AG was out or Westbrook played trash as a coping mechanism.

Shaq and Hakeem got swept (multiple times) by considerably worse teams, but leave it to TheColi to say Jokic doesn’t belong in the convo with them after he took a near-70 win squad to 7 games.

This OKC/DEN series was sort of like ‘98 Bulls/Pacers where a 5 game series turned into 7 because of inexplicable late game mismanagement.
ie. Scottie missing both FTs with the Bulls up 2, directly leading to Reggie’s GW 3 over Mike that tied the series 2-2 instead of the Bulls up 3-1. Then the game 6 fumble where Mike slipped.
That was basically Chet bricking both FTs in game 1 directly leading to the Gordon GW 3. Then the game 3 fumble by Shai leading to another Gordon 3. They were down 1-2 when they did everything right to be up 3-0.

If they learn from that and go on to chip, they’ll be like the ‘00 Lakers (66-wins/7-games vs Blazers) and ‘08 Celtics (67-wins, 7-games vs Hawks and Cavs) that were historically dominant all season but didn’t really know how to win until they were backed into a corner.
‘92 Bulls too (67-wins/ 7-games vs Knicks), altho they were already champs.

Damn, barely anyone gave Jdub his props for coming through in Game 7 either. Everyone was so quick to shyt on him after the previous game, quick to come up with trades for players to take over his role.
