My betta fish died today

My daughter kills betta fish monthly. She cried the 1st time but now she like welp this one dead too mommy let’s go to the store and get another one. She be making them things do tricks for food though.

You training a killer...serving them monthly up for the slaughter like that?







Couldn’t have a pet fish for this reason though. Seems like they are just waaay to fragile.

all he do is hide behind the plastic reef and make bubbles....told my wife that shyt ain't gonna last the month....

The males make bubble nest waiting on a female. Just change the water every couple weeks and maybe add a small heater during the winter and they live forever. I have one that's so old he never moves until I feed it. He just sits on the ivy roots, when you put pellets in you can hear a little splash.

yep 3 long years, i could tell he was on his last legs as he wasn't eating the past few days and would just lie down and do nothing when he's always been spiry.

Lil breh lasted about 2 1/2 years.

bad thing is I only cleaned and replaced the tank filter I think one time...
