it's worth it, my only problem is the battery drains alil fast when recording video, but overall it's an excellent camera.
Make sure you put the camera in airplane mode to conserve on battery life

I just bought my first dslr camera off ebay for $320

a Nikon D3300 including a 18mm-55mm lens

great picture quality to me. got it from the national camera exchange.

I just spent 330 on this camera and the monfukka is suppose to shoot hd quality videos but it grainy af and very terrible, and also the pictures come out terrible as well, can anyone out there with camera know how, point me in the right directiom, I feel like I wasted my money

It's not a bad camera at all, but if your hands shake a lot when taking photos with a zoom, you might need to use a tripod or monopod. But for that model, it shouldn't be needed honestly.

Next time, take a look on Canon's website for deals on refurbished cameras. I've bought a few and they've all looked brand new and worked flawlessly. You could've copped a SX700 for $160.

I don't have one, but I hear really good things about the G7x's photo and video quality. I own a S110 and it takes great pics and does really nice 1080p video at 24fps. I shot these videos with it this past summer:

If you want more zoom range, I'd look at a SX50. If you just want one do-it-all camera, I'd look at something similar instead of getting a mirrorless or DSLR.

I know mirrorless is the way forward. But I'm happy I got me a Nikon tha icon d5500 with 35 f1.8 prime. Mirrorless prolly has better sensors, but they still can't fukk with Canon and Nikon lenses. My next lens will be dat sigma 18-35 f1.8
NAh. Sony mirrorless camera lenses are on par with any DSLR offerings. Plus they're smaller too!

my DSLR is pretty small. But that Sony a series are too small. I don't doubt Sony has great lenses, but they're more expensive than Nikon and Canon offerings. Also, Nikon and Canon lenses are more abundant and could easily get cheaper used on Craigslist or ebay.

Whatever DSLR you have, im certain it isn't as small as the a5000 or my a6000. I went from a Nikon D90 (excellent camera btw) to my a6000 and the a6000 is superior in many aspects. Image quality is about 98% that of my D90 with tons and tons of more features and capabilities.

I'm looking at either the Nikon d3300 and the a6000 comparable price range, I'm just debating the feature set.

the sony a6000 is easily the best camera under $600. i would have gone mirrorless if i didn't have a friend who had a nikon dslr and really good lenses.
