The general population is stupid enough to hand over everything

if the government wanted your dna they could get it easily

I know that Bantus came from Nigeria. However there's a section where it says that I have a recent ancestor from Nigeria that was alive during the 1800s according to 23andme.

Your ancestor could have also been from Cameroon. Igbos and Bamilekes are the same group separated by a border. Same situation with Yorubas and Dahomeys. So many Cameroonians show up as having Nigerians ancestry just because 23andMe has a bigger Igbo test population.

Somebody explain for me, what's the concern with the government getting your DNA? I'm honestly asking cuz I've always wanted to do a DNA test but I see people say this a lot.

I mean technically... Couldn't they get your DNA when you're born? How do we know they don't?

Good job.

Pharm companies will be harvesting your African genes to cure cancer/make vaccines and you wouldn't get one penny.

ETA: Based on your posting history, you are 100% c00n though. :umad:

Have people who are worried about giving their dna away never gone to the doctor or hospital?

You know if they wanted your dna they could get it through there right? They don’t have to wait for you to spit in a tube and send it off

dayum i didn't know they did african american communities.

so they're saying typically, people from those states had that type of european background in them?

More than likely if your ancestors came over here from those slave ships you have some European in you but I wouldn't think that specific background could narrow you down to a state, it's probably something more they use to classify you down to communities

Another thing AncestryDNA has is a list of people who have sent in their DNA and could be related to you, close family, 1st, 2nd, 3rd cousins

If that was the case. Then why do they have these companies selling them their patients DNA.:yeshrug: when they can do exactly that

I'm not saying they can't do what u said. But there's gotta be something up. That they have these companies selling it. Instead of just going to the doctors and hospitals

Whenever someone makes a DNA test thread brehs run in here talking about "those results aren't real :duck: the DNA companies are husltling yall ". Here's proof that they are not fake :umad:. I decided to take a DNA test to see if this shyt is real.
quick background: my family is from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. I think that my dad is 100 percent Congolese since his ancestors have mostly stayed around the Kinshasa area. My mom on the other hand comes from Eastern Congo so I expect some East African DNA from my mother's side. Her side of the family also speaks Swahili (an East African language). I'm also sure that I'm 100 percent African since my ancestors never left the continent or mingled with outsiders :lawd:.
Here are my DNA results:
15yf400.jpg

Damn near 95 percent of my DNA is Congolese and East African. When I clicked on "South Eastern African" it showed Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Burundi. Rwanda is really close to Congo so my mom's side of the family probably comes from this region :jbhmm:. All in all, this is proof that those DNA tests are accurate as can be.
edit: What really threw me off was the 2.6% Nigerian:deadmanny:. Shyt was random as fukkk :gucci:. I asked both of my parents if they had Nigerian ancestors and they said no :jbhmm:. At least I now know that I share ancestry with my favorite fighter Adesanya :blessed:.

Great looking results and yes DNA tests are accurate especially if the testing services have a lot of good samples. After all they use DNA to prove paternity and in criminal cases, so you know that it has to be pretty accurate. You can not believe anti-science people, because they don't believe shyt anyway; but they are the first ones to go to the doctor.

The Bantu immigration started from around the modern day border of Nigeria and Cameroon, so that likely explains that Nigerian result.

It is that .01% Senegambian & Guinean result that you need to be explaining nikka, because that place ain't nowhere near Congo. Your mom might be keeping something from you. Are you unusually tall in comparison to the rest of your family? :mjpls:

The other way around too. There are a lot of people that think that their maternal and paternal lines are Nigerian, but they are actually Cameroonian.
