Walking down Fulton Street from Foodtown and thinking about the spaghetti I'm about to cook for dinner. I get a call from my brother, which immediately gives me pause because while we're not estranged or nothing we just do talk much so for him to call me out the blue something must be up. And...yeah. Man. I don't really know what to do. He was 63 but looked no older than 50, but had an immune disorder that we thought was behind him for decades now. But...fukk. still processing the shyt

What helps is don’t focus on my the loss, think of the good times you had with him.

And the hardest part is that men don’t like talking about their emotions.
It’s easy for women so sometimes women heal faster in loss.

Be strong, & keep yourself busy.
If you can’t talk about it go to a bar and have a few drinks.
You’ll talk to yourself in your own way when you get home
