Son 17 now. Just got 130k in scholarships to the first university we early applied to in Nov.

5 more to come back. His gpa 4.2 and did excellent on ACTs. Full ride probably to the schools he applied too.

Not sure who still remembered when he was in 3rd grade and I posted the original thread on sohh.

He did it tho. Gonna get him a car for graduation. So with car and full ride. He will be debt free after school.

Just being humble now.

I meant Albert Einstein level. Dude is so smart. But he settled into his personality in the last year. I think he is brilliant and could do anything he dreams of.

Just not sure what genius is really, especially compared to what news and magazines expectations are. I just know from early on he had brains.

Honestly my divorce and all was probably a setback. Wish I had the money to send him to all those camps I couldn't afford over the years thru Duke Tip. He may have gotten recognized for something.... I always stayed strong on education with him though (probably because Im an immigrant)

Either way he accomplished this, and I'm proud especially since I started a thread in 2008 on it. 10 years in the making.

Make sure the breh is well rounded. Help him develop emotional intelligence if you see he's lacking in that area.

He wants to go to UF / "Gators", they haven't replied yet. Got his 2nd response today with more scholarships. That all I care about. UF doesn't accept til Feb. The 2 that already replied were early enrollments. Gonna be honest if UF don't match with a full ride, near full ride he going to one of the other prospects. He applied to 5 schools all in Florida, staying in state. My goal is him having the least DEBT when done.

She is doing good back in school in full remission. She also is a big sister now, and I worked it out where the little sister was born in America. "Dreamer act"
